Set up Phonez

A Mac, iPhones or Androids, and a browser — for you and your whole team.

BEFORE YOU START

One tool per platform

  • • iPhones: nothing to install — the app's setup wizard builds WebDriverAgent with your own Apple ID.
  • • Android phones: adb, one Homebrew line — brew install android-platform-tools
STEP 01

Install the app

Download the DMG, drag Phonecontrol to Applications, and sign in. The app installs and supervises the farm on your Mac.

STEP 02

Enroll your phones

Plug an iPhone in, tap Trust, and the setup wizard walks WebDriverAgent onto it. Android phones take the same route: plug in, accept the USB-debugging prompt on the phone, and the farm talks to them over adb (prerequisite above) — no wizard, no re-signing. Each phone gets a permanent name (farm-01, farm-02…) used by everything else. Targeting is always explicit — a task names its phone.

STEP 03

Invite your operators

Add VAs from the Account view with one-time invite links. Each operator sees only the phones you assign them. Every gesture, typed text (length only — never the text), and agent action lands in an audit trail.

STEP 04

Drive from the browser

Live video of every iPhone and iPad at grid cadence, full framerate on the one you hold a lease to. Tap, swipe, type, capture screenshots, and run the built-in agent with a sentence — every action it takes is audited with your instruction. Android phones get the screenshots and the tap, swipe and type. Live video and agent runs are iPhone and iPad only for now.

Two ways to put an agent in the driver's seat

Managed tokens

The built-in agent runs on our model pool. Usage is metered per run from your token balance, the model is your choice from the model catalog, and token packs top you up. Gestures and screenshots never touch the balance — tokens buy the model, not the hands.

Bring your own agent

Prefer Claude Code, Codex, or your own harness? Mint a personal access token in the portal and point your MCP client at your farm. Your model, your bill. Revoke the token and access dies on the next request.

GOOD TO KNOW

The rules that keep phones safe

  • • A task names its phone. Nothing ever falls through to “whichever is free.”
  • • One control session per device — the farm refuses double-driving instead of racing.
  • • Over quota, existing phones keep working. We never brick your farm.
  • • Typed text is audited by length, never by content — a 2FA code cannot leak through the audit trail.
